Sapling plantation at village Dudhgaon, Sangli on the occasion of World Environment Day.

The event of tree/saplings plantation was carried out on the occasion of World Environment Day on 5th of June 2019 at village Dudhgaon, Sangli. The event was organised by Shree Shree Shree Sadguru Parwadeshwar Maharaj Sanskriti Mahasamiti, Sangli Ashram, an NGO for world Peace and Human Welfare.

Mr Vikas Kadam, Head of the village (Sarpanch); Mrs Kolhapure, Deputy Head of the Village and Member of Gram-Panchayat, Dudhgaon; Mrs Surekha Admuthe, Member of Zilla Parishad, Mr Raghunath Bondre, Member of Gram-Panchayat, Haripur and Mrs Aarti Gurav Ex-Member of Gram-Panchayat, Haripur were present as Chief Guests and each one planted a sapling.

A total of 10 saplings were planted on the event. The mission of this event was to spread awareness about the importance of trees and to take an initiative to conserve and plant more trees so as to have a peaceful, prosperous and a better life for our future generations. ll Jai Parwadeshwar ll
